Financial Aid & Subsidized Childcare

Quality Montessori education shouldn't be a luxury. We partner with state and county programs to help every qualifying family access the care their child deserves.

Every Child Deserves a Great Start

We provide a high-quality form of childcare using the Montessori curriculum, and we believe firmly that access to a robust early education program shouldn't be available only to wealthy parents.

We understand the importance of cost as a deciding factor for parents when choosing the right preschool for their children. That's why we have built relationships with multiple state and county subsidy programs — and we work actively with families to identify every source of assistance they may be eligible for.

If you're not sure whether you qualify, please reach out. Our staff will walk you through the process from start to finish at no charge.

Programs We Accept

We work with many different subsidy programs. Contact us to find out which ones we currently accept and which apply to your family.

Subsidy Programs We Accept

The following programs are accepted at Nadia's Montessori Childcare. Eligibility requirements are set by the individual programs — we're here to help you navigate the application process.

CalWORKS — Stage 1

Stage 1 is the initial subsidized childcare stage for families newly entering the CalWORKS program. It is administered by the county welfare department and covers childcare costs while parents participate in welfare-to-work activities.

CalWORKS — Stage 2

Stage 2 continues subsidized childcare as families become more stable. It is administered by Alternative Payment Programs (APPs) and allows families greater flexibility in choosing a licensed childcare provider.

CalWORKS — Stage 3

Stage 3 provides continued childcare subsidy for families who have left cash aid but still need assistance. It is funded through the California Department of Education and offered through local childcare providers.
