Preschool Teacher

Full-Time Part-Time Considered Chino, CA (On-Site)

About the Role

Preschool Teachers at Nadia's Montessori Childcare guide children through self-directed exploration of the prepared Montessori environment. You will observe individual children, introduce new materials at appropriate times, maintain accurate developmental records, and communicate warmly with families.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Montessori work periods in a prepared classroom environment
  • Observe and document each child's developmental progress
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and orderly classroom
  • Communicate daily with families regarding their child's activities and progress
  • Collaborate with the teaching team on curriculum planning and school events
  • Follow all California childcare licensing regulations and CDSS requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) college units — required
  • Experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting
  • Valid fingerprint clearance (DOJ / FBI background check)
  • Current CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
  • Warm, patient demeanor and genuine passion for early childhood education

Preferred Qualifications

  • AA or BA in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
  • Montessori training or certification from an AMI- or AMS-affiliated program
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus
